Amber Sakai's Upland reaches for the open grasslands of Central California — dry oak savanna, wild grasses, and the particular lightness of land with a long view. Cleaner and more open than Chaparral, with a pale herbal finish. Hand-poured in small batches in Carmel from premium soy wax in a heavy clear vessel designed to be kept and refilled. Burns approximately 60 hours.
