Lapidary Lamp

A table lamp whose base is constructed from a column of hand-cut stone sections set within a brass-trimmed case, the stone selected for its natural color variation and arranged to tell a material story from base to neck. Named for the lapidary tradition of precision stone cutting — the base is a small monument to that craft.
