Lipshell Inlaid Neoclassic Urn Lamp on Tripod Base

A table lamp in the neoclassical urn form, the body inlaid with lipshell and mounted on a tripod base with cast antique patina brass mounts. The urn lamp is among the most archetypal forms in Western decorative arts — this interpretation is elevated by the shell inlay and the quality of the metalwork.
