A Gracie Kano Garden panel, specimen B, in a framed format — hand-painted in Gracie's New York studio in the tradition of the eighteenth-century Chinese painted screens that inspired the house. Gracie has produced hand-painted wallcoverings and panels for American interiors since 1898. Each panel is executed by hand on fine paper or silk; this is a complete decorative work.
