A pair of large bergère-form chairs with wide oval backs, carved in wood and carrying a multi-layer paint finish worked so that they read as antiques rather than as new pieces. Upholstered in embossed leather and finished with nail trim.

The scale is generous — these are chairs to sit in rather than chairs to look at — and the layered finish means no two surfaces on them are quite the same colour.
